Baby Fever...or Boat Fever??

So this weekend was so crazy with everything that we were doing. 6 shoots in one weekend was probably the most I have ever had and my body is feelin it today. I spent this weekend with some of the greatest people I know and that is why it is the greatest. I got to see so many people that I have not seen in a while. I was able to spend time with Ms. Wanda Parker and take photos of her precious grandchild. I have always looked up to Wanda and thought of her as a mentor. I got to see Amber Barrett and meet her precious family. It is so awesome to see where we are all ending up and what God has planned for us all. I got to see Kara Fuston who lately I have been seeing a lot more often that usual but I spent an great night with her and one of my best friends in Kindergarten through First Grade, Jessica Hayslip Culpepper. This whole weekend was so special to see all these wonderful people that I have memories with. It was fun to hang out with Kara and Jessica and our families and talk about old times. Never would I thought that I would have "old times" already but it's here and it's wonderful.

This weekend made me think of a lot of things, but the one thing I thought the most about was how we all have been extremely blessed. God works in such wonderful ways. Who he pairs us up with, who he lets in to our lives, the opportunities he allows for us is almost too much to think about. I was thinking about how when Jessica, Kara, and I used to play together as little kids. We never thought about who we were going to marry, what occupations we were going to have (well except Kara knew from the time she was in the womb that she was going to be a teacher), or where we would be. So as I was sitting there with them all Sat. night with our new husbands, new baby Harper, and our wonderful families, I truly feel blessed we have all made a wonderful lives for ourselves with God leading the way.

Here are a few pics from Sat. night. Love you both Kara and Jessica. Felt like nothing had ever changed in all these years.

So I guess you are wondering where the title of the post is coming from. I had a shoot this weekend on an awesome cruiser boat with such an awesome family. It looked about like this one.

The Namie Family have the cutest little girl named Peyton.

So between these two things I don't know if I have baby fever or Boat fever....or at this point maybe both. I know we are just newly weds but the idea of a child is getting stronger every day. I know we will wait a while and if we get the urge to get a boat we may do it before the child. But little Peyton stole my heart. We had such a wonderful weekend! Have a great one.
